Daniel is continuing to do very well this morning, and in fact most of the time he is asleep. He is waking from time to time but normally only for about 20 minutes.
He has to lie flat on the bed all the time but I have even managed to feed him some jelly; I didn't expect him to eat so soon.
We have been told that Daniel will be moved out of PICU today in to the general ward, although we are in no hurry as at the moment we have a pleasant room with a sliding door to keep it quiet and Daniel is getting plenty of good rest.
