The hamstring and heel tendon surgery was finished by about 9.30 this morning. Dr Dobbs phoned me from the operating theatre and said that all had gone well, and also that he thought that we will be pleased with the results.
It is now midday and we are in a room on Floor 10. Daniel has been wide awake since being in the recovery room, and he is comfortable in bed watching cartoons on TV.
